By buying or downloading anything from Minimalist Diary ("we", "us"), you ("you", "the buyer") agree to these terms.
What you're buying
A printable PDF file. Each PDF is a digital download stamped with your name and a unique license key. There is no physical product, no app, no account, and no recurring service.
License you're granted
A perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- Print the PDF as many times as you like for your own personal use.
- Store the PDF on as many of your own devices as you like.
- Save backups for archival purposes.
What you may not do
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share the PDF — including on file-sharing networks, social media, or "freebie" sites.
- Remove or alter the buyer-stamp or license key on the PDF.
- Use the PDF or any portion of it as part of a competing product.
- Print it for commercial resale (e.g., bound copies sold at retail). Personal-use printing only.
If a stamped copy of a PDF appears in a public location it shouldn't (a torrent site, a marketplace, a PDF-sharing community), we may match the license key to the original buyer and revoke that buyer's license, including future re-download rights.
The Creator Edition (MD·005)
Includes editable Affinity Publisher and InDesign source files in addition to the PDFs. The license permits personal customization (changing prompts, layouts, page counts) for your own use. Redistribution of the modified files is still prohibited.
Lifetime updates
When we revise a file you own, we'll email you the new version. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the product line at minimalistdiary.com. If we ever shut the catalog down, we'll send a final consolidated archive of every file you bought before going dark. We will not silently disappear.
Refunds
Digital products are non-refundable once downloaded. See the refund policy for the full statement and the narrow exceptions.
Service availability
The site, the download endpoints, and the email delivery service are provided "as is." We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee it. If a download link is temporarily unavailable, please retry later or email us.
What we don't do
We do not provide tax advice, legal advice, therapy, productivity coaching, or any service beyond delivering the PDF you bought. The diaries are templates; how you use them is up to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the diaries or this site is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute is to be resolved exclusively in the courts of Tokyo, Japan.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially reduces buyer rights, we'll send a one-time notice email to anyone with an active purchase or subscription.
